Letter from Pastor Moe

Per Pastor Moe it is mandatory that all artist attends Tuesday night if they plan on ministering with 12Strings in 2009. You must be there absolutely no excuses!!! You are to have Pastor Moe's permission not to show up. If you are a no show and don't call then it will be taken as you have stepped down! The only excuse is death, death in the family, bed ridden, or work and even then I will need proof of either one in order for excuse to be valid... Thanks so much. God Bless!.

Letter to the Camp

To the entire Camp: Last nights attendance as well as last Thursdays attendance was unacceptable, especially considering what season we are in. Many members of the camp are going through some horrible times right now, and most have no idea because of there lack of commitment to the camp. As I looked at Pastor Mo standing in front of all 10 of us last night, God spoke this to me….

“The burden of the entire camp is resting on the “Faithful Few.” Those few will receive their reward, but the camp as a whole will not see greater works because the faithful few is so very few.”

As long as our meetings have 8-10 members in attendance (last night even included a visitor), our camps cry from our lips of “Greater Works Lord, use us Lord, take us to the next Level, we are ready to infiltrate the industry….” Is a faint whisper to God compared to our actions that suggest “I am happy with my portion, I am NOT WILLING to do what is required, and I AM NOT WILLING TO SUBMIT TO MY PASTOR who has called for us to meet weekly.

I don’t care what your role in 12 Strings is. If you consider yourself a part of 12 Strings, you should be at these meetings. I take total responsibility for my actions that lead to the camp not getting where I feel like God wants us to be, but I will hold each and every one of you accountable for your role that you play in that. I believe that everyone should have that attitude, and if you are not willing to be held accountable for your actions, then you need to step down. The same faithful few grind during the “less glamorous” things like meetings and fasting, yet everyone and their mother comes out to the events, and I assume we will have more people at our get together on Sunday than we did at our meeting on Thursday. Why? Because everyone is not making this a priority. If it’s not important to you and if your not ready to grind. Step down. Otherwise, when I call you out in public or in private; don’t get mad at anyone but yourself.

If it sounds to you like I’m angry, than praise God. That means that even in your current complacent state you still have discernment. Praise God you haven’t yet lost that. Faithful few, I thank you for being faithful.

If this announcement makes anyone upset towards me, praise God for conviction. You were probably absent with no reason. If this announcement doesn’t make you angry, it’s probably because your heart is with the season, but for legitimate reasons you could not attend last night or last Thursday. Be prepared for a change that will keep you accountable. If your not ready for that accountability, step down now. As Pastor Mo said at Apex, “We do honorable discharges and dishonorable discharges…”

Please after reading text the CODE WORD TO TRA. THANK YOU
MRS. SMITH

Letter about CHKD

What up camp??? This is Tra and I’m sharing something with the entire camp that I believe came from God. It relates to the whole CHKD thing.

First of all, let me start by saying that for those who knew that we had to take Alana to CHKD emergency room to see a neurologist, as scary and as awful as it sounds, Alana is fine and well. They basically said that the tremors that she is having during her sleep are “normal.” At least, nothing to be alarmed about. So praise God for that.

But as the doctor was giving us the good report about Alana’s condition, the Lord began speaking to me about other children and families who are not getting a good report. This is what God put on my heart to share with the camp.

“What greater way is there to show appreciation to God that our kids are doing well than to pray for others? Some parents don’t have the faith that we have, and as much as they want their children to get better, THEY CANNOT GIVE THEM WHAT THEY DON’T HAVE THEMSELVES and for that reason haven’t given those children (who technically belong to God in the first place) a reason to have hope. When you are able to go pray for someone in need, and you freely choose not to, you are “technically” picking and choosing who deserves to be blessed and who does not deserve to be blessed (and in this case, you are choosing which children deserve to be healed, and which parents deserve to be given hope).”

That last part sounds harsh. It almost sounds like I’m tapping in on the guilt technique. First of all, it’s not me speaking, that is what God put on my heart. Secondly, God clearly stated that we cannot give what we don’t have, and He has clearly given us at least one of the next two things: healthy children (there are different degrees of healthy) and (more importantly) hope and a reason to believe that they can be completely healed. Basically, God said to me “who are we to pick and choose who deserves healing?” He gave us faith and hope, and He didn’t give it to us so we can “bury the talents” like the parable teaches because our “master is harsh” and we didn’t want him to be mad if we didn’t make a profit.

Don’t forget that the word appreciate also means “to increase in value.” A house appreciates on the market, and in doing so it’s worth more. Do you really appreciate the gift of faith and hope and healthy children that God has given you? If so, what are you doing to increase it’s value? You are either truly increasing it’s value by using that gift to bless others (in other words “investing healing” into others lives so that investment can “increase in value”) or you have buried that gift in your spirit so at least when Jesus returns we can give Him back the same thing He gave us, and in that way the gift didn’t loose any value. (But of course, it’s still there for you to use it for your own needs when you need it.....ouch....)

In summation, what good is the gift of a shirt if your not wearing it? a car if your not driving it? If I gave you gas money so you could go to church and you still didn’t go to church, I don’t care how many times you said thank you with your mouth, say thank you by your actions. Otherwise, your actions will speak so loudly that I won’t be able to receive the “thank you” that is coming from your mouth.

So now that the foundation is laid, I believe God gave me a vision for a music project. Don’t be so surprised, because music is one of the things we do well. (hehehehehehe) God said we have too many testimonies and words of encouragement for these kids, and we need to give it to them in the form that we know how to give it to them best. We need to release a cd similar to tracks and backpacks. I’m still waiting for God to give me the title of the project, but the concept is simple. During the writing and recording process, keep in mind that this isn’t for the streets and this isn’t for the “hip hop heads” or the church. This is for those who are sick, and who God wants to speak an encouraging word through. And God chose us to be His mouthpiece.

What I would like you to do is to seek God about this, and after prayer, immediately hit me back with an email about what your involvement will be (if any). If God really doesn’t press on your heart that this was for you, than I’m cool with it. I only want those who feel compelled by GOD and are serious about this to respond so we can get cracking. By the way, I think I have the title of the project now. “I See You.” (obviously a play on the acronym, I.C.U. meaning “intensive care unit). That just dropped in my spirit and I think that’s the title. “I See You.” Praise God! So hit me back and let me know if your down. If it ends up being the entire camp, I think maybe two songs from each group or artist would be great. Focus on encouragement and healing and faith. If all groups don’t feel like God is bringing them on board, than we will have to go to another plan and put collabs together. Another part of this plan is to infiltrate the hospital and pray for the kids, families, nurses, and doctors who work there. So it’s not just about spitting a hot 16, it’s about being able to look a bald headed child in the eyes as they are sick from chemo and tell them “I truly believe that God can bring you through!”

I know this was long, but thank you for reading this, and now is the time to respond. At your earliest convenience (if you feel it necessary) pray about what your involvement might be, and immediately after that either text me or email me, telling me not only your involvement, but what God spoke to you about the situation as well. I feel in my spirit that this is going to end up being HUGE! We don’t do it for attention, but I feel like the media is gonna get a hold of this, and being obedient to God in this area is going to “force” His favor to drop on us in other areas.
Thanks family, love you guys, and get at me.

Tra

Can everyone please text or email Tra with a response to their participation in this. He would love to hear a response from everyone.

Thank you.

THOUGHT FAST

The Power of One…
One in Mind, One in spirit and One in purpose.
Today is the day the Lord has made I will be glad and rejoice in it. I word for today is don’t stress. I will not allow things that are going on around me to infect me. Have you ever had a person cough on you and you think I sure hope I don’t catch what you have. Then you think on that thing and you get caught up into I might get sick. I remember that happening to me with pink eye, I knew I had it no one could have told me I did not catch it. Then my friend looked in my eyes and said you don’t have pink eye. Guess what all the signs dried up and I went back to seeing normal. This is the same thing that happens when we listen to the lies of the enemy. So I have to sometimes rebuke myself and say you shall live and not die. So I say to you, “you are no infect by life’s situations.” I will have enough and my eyes are not pink. I have clear vision to do what my Father has called me to.

THOUGHT FAST DAY 9

The power of one…
Day 09: May 19, 2008
Today I would like to focus on the head with it many different parts. The head has a brain which is in casted around a skull. The Skull has 22 interconnected parts which is used as a shield or shall I say a covering. It is really hard to get to the brain without breaking thru the skull. I would like to use this example as Moses is the brain shall I say the head and we are the 22 bones of the skull that make up the body that covers him. We do this so that the vision he has for the body (ministry) is protected and still goes forth. If one piece is out of place or leaves its post then the head is not protected and it can be easily attacked. Today prayer for your leaders those in authority over you that it will go well with them and that God will give you favor on their behalf and for any part or post you take that you would cover it well. The word for today is I am important and my pastor needs me to cover him.

THOUGHT FAST DAY 7-8

The power of one…
Day 7-8 May 17 & 18
As a man thinks so, he is. Proverbs 22: 29 Do you see those who are skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; … God will take us before the nations that every gift given will bring him glory. My question to you is do you think you deserve to go? I see him pushing us to our limits only for us to bust out and there is this big door opening. I have seen it in a dream the test and trying of some of you. It May not be what you are exactly going through but that you are being tried in the fire. I pray, a covering over the trials you are encountering and know when he is finished, it was just a test. Pass it. I pray that God will keep your mind in perfect peace. Proverbs 25: 25 “Like cold water to a weary soul is good news from a distant land.” This is Good news.

Thought Fast Day 6

If you are thinking, “what about those gas prices? “Today you may be focusing on wrong thinking or some would say reality. The truth is they are hitting everyone in some way or the other. I know, personally it is taking away from money that was set aside for other use and sometimes you get that robbing Peter to pay Paul moment then what? It’s called overwhelmed. The word we are fasting today, I can’t. I know sometimes we may feel like we cannot go on any farther, but is that what God says. In 1Peter, 5:7 “Cast your cares on him because he cares for you.” You have to be honest with God, seek him and tell him your cares because He cares about You. Start believing today I can make it, because this is only a season. This has happen before nothing is new under the sun but that our Father has this (me). I have faith that says this to shall pass. Mark 9:23 “All things are possible for those who believe.” Therefore, I put my faith to work and I say Father Meet every need in our ministry. I ask you to take care of those prayers that are said aloud and those that are hidden in our hearts. Meet every family needs because I have faith to believe you can do it. Amen. Thank you in advance.

THOUGHT FAST DAY 5

The Power of one…
Day 5 May 15,2008
Think this: “Give and it will be given to you...”
Do you see it?  God promises that IT will be given back to you in good measure, pressed
down, shaken together.  “IT” will be given to you, AFTER you GIVE.  Believe that
everything you give is coming back in good measure.  When you think like this, giving
becomes an attitude, a mindset that guides your life. As we do God’s work what you sow you shall reap. Every gift you offer up to him will come in a gift that he will give back to you. But it says in my bible it will be an over flowing blessing. Like favor at work, peace in your home, wonderful children and a life of joy. I think this: I will give!

THOUGHT FAST DAY 4

The Power of One…

Day 4 May14
1Chr. 28:9 “…acknowledge the God of your father and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought.”
During this time the temple was being built where the spirit of God would dwell. Now we are his temple where he allows his spirit to dwell. So how much more does he look into our hearts and know our thoughts and desires. Could you keep anything from him? No, but still he gives us the right to choose. When we have a willing mind, our mind lines up with his desires and we do his will. How then will I serve him but with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind. I pray today let my will die and your’s live Father that I may have your perfect will, which is what is best for me. Amen

THOUGHT FAST DAY 3

The Power of One…
One in Mind, One in spirit and One in purpose.
Day 3 May 13
The mind game…
If you thought of a way to take a person out, without touching their physical body what would you do? The answer is start attacking their thought life. There are different ways to fight back. But the biggest thing is to not entertain certain thoughts. What attack is the enemy using on you? Did he tell you something that is not true, but did you realize it was a lie or did you believe it? Today I would like you to cast down any thought that exalts it’s self against the knowledge of Christ. I know sometime you may say not me but I am talking about that little voice that can come and you generally put it to the back of your mind until the right time or situation. Today I won’t let myself play those mind games. I know what you say about me and that is enough. I have the mind of Christ. No game that can come will catch me off. For I am equipped with good thoughts and this battle is won!

THOUGHT FAST DAY 2

The Power of One…
One in Mind, One in spirit and One in purpose.
Day 2 May 12
“I pray allow me to be the strongest part I can be…”
Roman 12:6 - “ We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith, if it is serving then serve, if it is teaching, then teach. If it is to encourage, then give encouragement, If it is giving, then give generously, if it is to lead, do it diligently, if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”
Rephrased
If your gift is writing mad lines, then do it until there are no more lyrics to write. If it is praying, then pray until you hear from heaven or you cause the angels to stop and listen. If it to rap on the mic look and see your greatest days are still to come. If it is to serve at the product table, then our DC sales will sorrow. If it is to set up the stage, then I know the sound will be perfect. If it is to watch the children, then no wonder they want to stay with you. If it is just to support, then I know you know every song, because you are our greatest fames. We need what you bring to the table, we need you!

THOUGHT FAST DAY 1

The Power of One…
One in Mind, One in spirit and One in purpose.
God has been dealing with me that only some things come through fasting and praying. This year like last year we have an awesome opportunity to go and impact the lives of youths and young adults. Since some are with child I did or was lead by God to do a thought fast, Which we are to think on or sustain from negative thought pattern to allow our lives to be changed and also to prepare for this season of giving out.
Day 1 May 10 -11
Selfishness is the first thought we will be fasting- stinginess resulting from a concern for your own welfare and a disregard of others. The thought that will replace it is Oneness-the quality of being united into one. I am not by myself but I am in a unit of believers and this is greater than just me. 1 Corinthians 12:27niv “Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is part of it.” Roman 12:3” For by the grace given me I say to every one of you : Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought but rather think of yourself with sober judgment in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.” Roman 12:4 “For just as each of us has one body with many members(us) and these members(us) do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body(ministry) and each member belongs to all the others. ONENESS- Today I may not understand or maybe I fully understand who or why I am here but I know I am part of something bigger than me. I know souls are in the balance some people God have set aside just for me to impact but hundreds even thousands for us has a body. So I get the big picture, with me some with us thousands.
I pray that God will impact your thought life and that you will always see the bigger picture.
