Important Information for the Retreat

Hello all,

In regards to the retreat there will be some very important rules and restrictions that we will need to follow, especially for those that will be bringing kids. Kelly will go into more details on this on Thursday. With that said everyone that will be attending the retreat will need to be at Thursday night's meeting.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hello camp some very important information.
FAST-
It was laid on Pastor Moe's heart for the camp as a whole to FAST in the month of March. The fast is to take place every other day starting March 2, 2009.
WEDDING-
The camp have been cordially invited to celebrate the nuptials of Mr. Anthony Harrison(Kreame) to Ms. Chemene Fisher on March 20, 2009@7:30PM @ Freedom Fellowship. If each family can bring a dish or two that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
EVENT-
CAMP RETREAT. It is here folks. March 21st- 24th, 2009. It will be $35.00 per person. Rooms are 1st come 1st serve. Deadline to give money will be March 19, 2009. Kids are allow to come but they will have to stay in the parents room. Even if you don't plan on staying all the days, but want a room you will still have to pay full price. TRIP-
April 10-12 2009 trip to Ohio. Please plan to leave on Friday morning at 7:00 am.
EVENT-
April 25th-26th. There will be a Beach Praise Party on the Strip on the these dates starting at 10am. Please plan to be there all day.

Letter to Camp

Hi Camp,

The Lord has spoken to me that we have entered into a new season of plenty! 

In this season of plenty, do not forget that He is the one who blessed you with it all!

Please, read all of Deuteronomy 8:1-20.

Focus on Deuteronomy 8:18-20

"18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

19 If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. 20 Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God."

The Gospels illustrates how dangerous wealth can be, the Bible makes it clear that the power to attain wealth is given by God. 

If only non- believers were wealthy, who would build orphanages, support ministries, or fund schools. 

If we renounced money, who would fund schools in developing countries, distributes God's word, or establishes Hospitals? God gives the power for wealth and what is critical is the motivation and perspective that dictate how we use it. 

If we use it for self-gain or illegitimate pleasure, then we will soon learn that it is almost impossible for us to enter the kingdom of heaven. 

If we use our wealth wisely, for the sake of our Lord, then we can sow in righteousness, knowing it was the Lord who made it possible.

In this season as the Lord releases and transfers the wealth to us, it is important to seek His face and put Him first.

May the Lord increase and enlarge your territory and may His face shine upon you!

Trip to Ohio

Hello ladies and gentlemen due to planning issues among city officials our trip schedule to take place this weekend(FEBRUARY6-8) to Ohio has been POSTPONED. The NEW scheduled dates for the trip will be MARCH 27-29, 2009. We will be leaving at 6AM on the 27th.
