Retreat is this weekend yall!!! Be sure to take down the following information:

Directions:

Directions to Retreat House from I-264E –
- Take exit 21A (the 1ST First Colonial Road exit) – Turn Right.
- First Colonial Road becomes Oceana Blvd. Follow down to the end of Oceana Blvd.
- Make RIGHT onto GENERAL BOOTH BLVD. Merge Left.
- Turn LEFT onto PRINCESS ANNE ROAD.
- Continue straight onto SANDBRIDGE ROAD. Follow.
- Turn RIGHT onto SANDFIDDLER ROAD.
- End at 2613 SANDFIDDLER ROAD.

Reverse Directions to I-264W from Retreat House:
- Make LEFT onto SANDFIDDLER ROAD.
- Make LEFT onto SANDBRIDGE ROAD. Follow.
- Continue straight onto PRINCESS ANNE ROAD.
- Make RIGHT onto GENERAL BOOTH BLVD. Follow.
- Make LEFT onto OCEANA BLVD. Follow.
- Take exit on the LEFT towards I-264 West.


Dinner:

ALL MEALS ARE PROVIDED
Friday: Dinner will be served at 7:00PM sharp.
Saturday: Breakfast @ 10AM – Lunch @1PM – Grill Out Dinner @ 5:30PM
Sunday: CATERED Sunday Dinner

Schedule:

Retreat Instruction begins Friday night at 8:00PM. We are on a tight schedule so let's try to be punctual with our timing and respect those who are also exercising punctuality and respect for time. Saturday evening is our free chill time—we can hang at the house, all go out somewhere, whatever….you are free to do whatever.
Retreat lasts all thru Sunday night – EVERYONE is required to attend Freedom Fellowship Sunday morning service @ 9AM OR 11AM. Dinner is catered on Sunday so ALL are requested to return to the Retreat Offsite following church services.

Accommodations:

All who are either sharing a room or utilizing the living areas of the home for the weekend should know who you are. If you are unsure, CONTACT KELLY LEWIS IMMEDIATELY at 667-8641. If you are utilizing the living area, be sure to bring an air mattress or sufficient bedding. Almost be mindful that the weekend is for fellowship and fun so you may want to pick a quieter area of the home to stay.

Reminder that we need to bring our own linens .This includes the following: Bath towels, washcloths, pillowcases, & at least queen size bed sheets.

Hey Everybody!

So basically, this blog is going to recap all of the latest 12 strings information. If you are looking for anything in particular, just scroll down until you see the bold subheading of what you are looking for (12 strings retreat, One Gathering, Relate Groups, etc...) If you aren't looking for anything in particular, and just want the update, then read it all.


12 Strings Retreat

1. We are entirely packed on the retreat, and the rooming is 1st pay 1st serve, so basically if you haven't paid by now, then be prepared to sleep on the couch, or floor. Please bring blankets and pillows, and anything else necessary for this situation. For further information on that, please contact Kelly. (e-mail is Receptionist@comegetfree.org) Let's not disturb Moses with any small questions on that please.

2. We are no longer doing the dinner thing that was stated prior to this blog. The new eating arrangement is this.
Friday - Spaghetti Dinner
Saturday - Family Cookout

3. Sunday, we will all go to Freedom Fellowship together. *THIS IS PART OF THE RETREAT* There will be some event taking place at Freedom, in which all of 12 strings must attend, so please be prepared to go.

4. If you have no yet paid, please pay Kelly ASAP! The cost is $20, but at this point, you will only be guaranteed a spot on the floor. Sorry but all the rooms are already taken.

5. Don't forget to bring pillows, blankets, toiletrees, toothbrushes, and all your other essentials.

ONE Gathering

1. We will be having the MANDATORY MOCK ONE Gathering next Thursday at 7 @ Freedom Fellowship. At this meeting, we will be going over EVERYTHING that will take place at the real ONE Gathering on Nov. 9. Please do not invite anybody else to this mock gathering, so we can get real with one another, and we can get everything done.

2. The Real ONE Gathering will take place Nov. 9. Invite anybody that you can think of, so we can kick it off BIG! Also, if you are interested in helping in any way, please contact Kelly ASAP.

Relate Groups

1. The relate groups are almost entirely set up. Big ups to Tra and Joanne for stepping up and leading the Relate Groups. They will begin sometime in January. We will keep you updated as time comes.
